Lab 03The faculty and staff of the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Baylor College of Dentistry are involved in numerous research and teaching activities in many areas of the biomedical sciences.

An important component of these activities is the desire to educate and learn through seminars, presentations of scientific findings, and attendance at professional meetings at the national and international levels.

The department organized two seminar series beginning in 2007-2008, "Pathways to Excellence" (Dr. Kathy Svoboda, founding organizer; Dr. Jerry Feng, 2009-2010 organizer) and a monthly "Bring Your Own Lunch" (BYOL);series (Dr. Phillip Kramer, organizer) (see links below). Future seminars and speakers' series are in the planning stages.
