Program Objectives
The program objectives are to:
- Produce a graduate who is confident and competent in all aspects of clinical
pediatric dentistry, including state-of-the-art techniques of patient management
and preventive, restorative, interceptive orthodontic, emergency care, practice
management and communication skills;
- produce a graduate who will be well-versed in all aspects of hospital
and institutional dentistry, including team management of medically, emotionally,
mentally and/or physically compromised patients; and
- produce a graduate who will have the ability to critically evaluate research
literature and have the inquiring attitude necessary to pursue advancement
in the practice, research and teaching of pediatric dentistry.
