The first class to graduate from the Caruth School of Dental Hygiene, founded in 1955 at Baylor University College of Dentistry, receives pins from Director Patricia Clendenin Wessendorff and clinic instructor Emily Funk. The pins were awarded during a special reception in 1957 at Lakewood Country Club sponsored by dental hygiene school benefactor the Caruth Foundation.
